Designing With Passion
My background spans 30+ years across teaching, campus leadership, and district-level roles, including 15+ years as a principal. I’ve led large teams, coached adult learners, and built training systems that strengthen instructional quality and measurable outcomes.
I develop and deliver professional learning for educators, with a focus on practical application and measurable impact. This includes:
* Designing microlearning courses and certification prep programs
* Building and deploying SCORM-compliant modules in Canvas LMS
* Training staff to use AI tools to create lessons, assessments, and digital content
* Coaching instructors through observation, feedback, and data analysis
I’ve also developed systems to track and scale learning outcomes, including a certification tracking model used across multiple campuses.
My work sits at the intersection of “instructional design, technology, and adult learning”—translating complex content into structured, accessible training that drives results.
Earlier in my career, I taught chemistry for nine years after starting in industry as a lab technician, where I focused on process validation and data analysis. That foundation continues to inform my approach: structured, data-driven, and outcomes-focused.
I’m now focused on applying this experience in learning and development roles, particularly in environments that value scalable training systems, technology integration, and measurable performance improvement.
Photography is a Hobby
I have developed a strong appreciation for smartphone photography as a creative hobby that supports a healthy work-life balance. It gives me an opportunity to slow down, notice details, and stay creatively engaged outside of my professional responsibilities.
I value photography not only as a form of personal expression, but also as a reminder that balance, reflection, and creativity contribute to long-term effectiveness in leadership and work.
